Corrections Policy

UtiliNest treats reproducible accuracy reports as product defects. A correction must address the calculation and the explanatory content that caused the error or ambiguity.

What a useful report contains

  • Tool name and page address.
  • Inputs, selected units or options, and the displayed result.
  • Expected result and the calculation or official source supporting it.
  • Browser and device details when the issue appears interface-specific.

Review procedure

  • Reproduce the result in the current build.
  • Compare implementation, formula, units, rounding, and data tables with the cited primary source.
  • Correct code, tests, page explanation, applicability label, and review date as needed.
  • Re-run the complete automated and browser validation suite.

Material corrections

A material correction is one that can change a decision, safety interpretation, regulatory meaning, or commonly entered result. Material issues take priority over cosmetic improvements.
