Privacy Policy

UtiliNest is designed to minimize data collection. In the current release, nearly every calculation runs entirely in the browser and no UtiliNest account or server-side input database is used.

Information UtiliNest receives

UtiliNest does not receive the values entered into local calculators, converters, text tools, timers, the notepad, microphone test, or webcam test.

  • The What Is My IP tool contacts api64.ipify.org only after the user selects its lookup control. That provider receives the network request and can see the requesting IP address.
  • Opening UtiliNest from a public host necessarily exposes standard connection metadata to the hosting provider.
  • Source links open third-party websites governed by their own privacy practices.

Browser storage

The Online Notepad uses localStorage so a note can reappear in the same browser profile. UtiliNest does not sync that note. Clearing browser data can remove it.

  • Do not store passwords, recovery codes, financial records, medical records, or other sensitive secrets in browser storage.

Microphone and camera

Microphone and camera access begins only after the user selects the relevant start control and the browser grants permission. UtiliNest displays the local stream or level in the page and does not record or upload it. Stopping the test releases the active tracks.

Analytics, advertising, and accounts

UtiliNest uses Cloudflare Web Analytics and Real User Measurements to understand page views, popular paths, approximate country, referrer, device and browser categories, and page-performance metrics. Cloudflare describes this service as privacy-first and states that Cloudflare Web Analytics does not collect or use visitors' personal data.

This release contains no UtiliNest account system, advertising SDK, behavioral advertising profile, marketing tracker, or non-essential cookie. Calculator inputs, text, files, notes, microphone data, and camera data are not sent to Cloudflare Web Analytics.

Your choices

  • Do not run a tool that requests a device permission or external lookup.
  • Remove a local note with its Clear control or through browser site-data settings.
  • Block or revoke camera and microphone access in browser or operating-system settings.
